About Christie Olstad
I'm a photographer and a painter. I love the creative process and the chance to capture or create something beautiful. I work mostly in acrylic and gouache, but love to try all kinds of mediums. Most of my photos are from hikes I take around the Bay Area of California, and a lot of my paintings are inspired by my walks to the ocean. My word designs are usually something about yoga, poetry or positive vibes.  I studied art at the California School of Professional Fabric Design in Berkeley, CA and at Yavapai College in Sedona, AZ.
In addition to my artwork, I am also a teacher of English lit., holistic health and yoga and have taught in California and Minnesota (where I'm from). Thanks for stopping by!
