Description
"Vacation Days" is part of a series of paintings exploring the feelings evoked by bodies of water. Through color, I want to express the positive influence of natural elements.
Some of my favorite vacations are those near the ocean, maybe somewhere in the tropics, sitting in the sun, swimming, snorkeling, surfing. What I hoped to capture in my color pallete were the feelings evoked from warm days and nights and time with friends and family on relaxing vacations. I hope this painting brings back wonderful feelings of special vacations you've had.
